Instructions for Updating SLOOPY
Exporting 2007-2008 SIS Data

SASI (Any version)

In the config file for each school, change the data.extension line to be for the 07/08 school year.

Also, if you have setup your sloopy to copy the SASI data into the sloopy data folder before you run sloopy, you’ll need to change the script you use to copy 07/08 data.

Aeries/SQL

It does not appear you will need to make a change -- but it is possible you will need to change the data.extension to reflect the 07/08 school year.

Aeries Access

1) If running as a Windows scheduled task, the properties line needs to read "... /SchoolYear:07 ..." (without the ..., of course)

2) If running "live," the script asks for a school year and "07" would be the answer.

Tab Delimited

You need to modify whatever script you created to export data from your system to export data for the 07/08 school year

MMS (Pentucket)

Change data.school_year=06-07 in the config file to
data.school_year=07-08

SILK (Kansas City)

Change data.school_year in each config file for each school.

WinSchool (South Texas)

You need to modify whatever script that generates the DBF files to pull data from the 07-08 school year.
