Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

1.  How can I find my school?  How do I register?
If your school is a member of School Loop (or to find out), click here: School List.  Look for your school name and click the link.  If you are already registered, enter your login name and password.  If you would like to register, click on Register Now, then on Parent or Student Registration.  You will need your student ID to complete the registration form. 

2.  I forgot my login.  I forgot my password.  Help!
Go to your school login page and click Login/Password Help.
Students: Enter your login name or Student ID number and we'll email you your login and password. No email address? Any staff member can tell you your login name and help you reset your password.
Parents: Enter your login name or contact the school.
School Staff: Enter login name or see any administrator or your tech coordinator.

3.  I want to get the homework email earlier, later, never.
You can login to your custom site and get up-to-date info 24x7. You can opt out of the daily email in Account Management.

4.  How do I change my login, password or email address?
Login and go to Account Management at the top of the page.  There you can edit your login, password and/or email address. 

5.  How do I add a second student?
Begin by registering one child, then, once logged in, click on Add student and register additional children.
 
6.  What is the difference between a student registration and a parent registration?
Students can submit work online, discuss assignments with other students, join student groups, see their own grades and receive news for students.
Parents receive news for parents, information about each of their registered students in a single daily email and can participate in parent groups.  Parents who have been verified will see their student’s grades. 

7.  I can't open an uploaded file. 
All digital lockers have links to free "readers" that can open various file formats.  Try saving the file to your desktop, and then, using the application you think is right, open it.  Sometimes you need to add an extension (*.doc, *.ppt) to files so they will open.

8.  Does my stuff stay over the summer? 
Yes, so long as you remain a student, parent of a student, a teacher or staff member.  

9.  Where is . . . ?  How do I . . . ? 
Many questions are answered simply by seeing the short tour we have on this site.  It lasts seven minutes and gives a complete walk-through of the application: Take the Tour

Two-Minute Tutorials
School Loop offers a number of short movies to help you use various features.  Most of these are approximately two minutes in length.  To access the movies, login and click the School Loop Help link on your homepage. 

Bugs
If you find something you think is really wrong, please report it immediately.  Because we interact with your SIS, most problems are data-related and clear up in a day.  But still, it's software and things sometimes don't work like they should.  Please let us know: Report a bug.

Contact Us
Please log into your account and click "Contact Us" from there.  We can give you much better service if you contact us while logged in because when you do, we gain access to better information about your problem immediately.  (If that won't work, then click here: Contact Us).
