Who receives a LoopMail email account?
Every subscriber in the School Loop Plus community—students, school staff, and parents—receives a LoopMail account. It is a member-only system. To eliminate the need to check two mailboxes, school staff and parents can receive mail in their LoopMail account and via their alternate email addresses, such as Yahoo! Mail or Gmail.
Are the registered email addresses kept from marketers and spammers?
Yes, all registered alternate email addresses supplied by school staff and parents are never shared with marketers or spammers. Addresses do not appear in sent mail or replies; only real names are used.
Do students send email in their own names?
Unlike regular email, LoopMail messages are always sent in the sender’s real name, so that students are accountable for what they publish. Display names cannot be changed to pseudonyms. In addition, student email can be monitored for added security, and messages cannot be deleted.
